Glen Street Theatre is committed to providing equal access for all patrons.

Parking

There are two Council carparks with free parking adjacent to the theatre with several accessible parking spots.

Special Seating Requests

We offer level access and space for wheelchairs in the Theatre. Please let Box Office know if you need this when booking.  View the seating plan.
 

Companion Tickets

Companion tickets are free of charge upon presentation of a Companion Card. For Companion bookings, please contact the Box Office. 

 

Assistance animals 

Assistant animals are welcome in our  theatre auditoriums, foyers, and public areas, provided they are accredited, trained to assist with a disability, and maintain appropriate hygiene and behaviours. It is recommended to notify the box office in advance for appropriate, accessible seating arrangements.

 

Hearing Assistance

We offer two services for people who are deaf or have hearing loss.

The Auracast service is provided to improve listening clarity in noisy environments. This system will amplify the audio of the performances..

Auracast-enabled hearing devices or personal Bluetooth earbuds or headphones can directly connect to the signal via settings, please refer to your Audiologist for advice and instructions on your particular device

Auracast receivers can also be provided by the Box Office These are provided with headphones or a personal induction loop.  If you would like to book a unit for use , please ask the Box Office when book or when you arrive at the theatre for a performance.

Captions are text descriptions that are displayed on a screen inside the venue. Follow the on-stage dialogue in real-time as it's displayed with large format text on plasma screens on either side of the stage. Many of our theatre productions offer captioned performances, check with our Box Office team for more information.
