Logie-winner The White Lotus actor Rob Carlton brings his new dramatic comedy ‘Virgin in a Knife Fight’ to Glen Street Theatre.
Virgin in a Knife Fight is a masterclass in theatrical storytelling.
Join Logie-winner The White Lotus actor Rob Carlton as he brings to life four true stories with four different moments of reckoning. It’s packed with laughs but gets into the messy stuff that surprises us, making life rich.
Armed with nothing but charm, timing and a knack for getting himself into trouble, Rob delivers four true stories that swing from hilarious to heartfelt. It all begins on the backstreets of Salzburg, where 18-year-old Rob finds himself in a three-person knife fight - despite never having used his travel knife on anything tougher than cheese. From there, the stories spiral through university misadventure, an absurd courtroom showdown on our very own Northern Beaches, and a moving moment of fatherhood and friendship that hits straight in the heart.
With the same warmth, wit and impeccable storytelling that earned him multiple Fringe awards, Rob turns chaos into comedy and confession into connection. Virgin in a Knife Fight is proof that life’s best stories come when we’re both the hero and the idiot - and sometimes, both at once.
Heartfelt. Hilarious. Utterly unmissable.
The antidote to the “manosphere” Exquisite storytelling, with humour and vulnerability, moments of deep reflections, a well of wisdom, kindness and compassion, poise and prose...and a chair. – Rob Mills (Millsy)
