This Professional Development workshop is NESA accredited for Proficient Teachers in NSW, however the PD is aligned to the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers so the content is relevant for teachers in all states & territories across Australia. The PD covers the following standards:
2.1.2: Apply knowledge of the content and teaching strategies of the teaching area to develop engaging teaching activities
3.5.2: Use effective verbal and non-verbal communication strategies to support student understanding, participation, engagement and achievement.
What should you bring on the day?
- A drink bottle
- Notepad and pen (each participant will also be given a handout of the content so that they can take notes throughout)
- Comfortable clothing you can move in
- NSW Proficient Teachers will need to bring their NESA accreditation number
Who is this suitable for?
The course is designed for primary teachers, however it may also be useful for teachers that teach outside of hours. Please note, this workshop is not suitable for students.
