The Big Ideas Forum engages our local community in the robust exchange of ideas.

2020 was ravaged by bushfires and a worldwide pandemic, taking a toll on both our mental and emotional health and the economy. In the next forum, esteemed social psychologist and researcher Hugh Mackay reflects on the challenges we faced during that year of upheaval and the questions many of us have asked ourselves: What really matters to me? Am I living the kind of life I want? What sort of society do we want to become?

Come along to hear Hugh discuss his latest book, with special guest moderator Mel Greblo from The Coterie, as we explore how to restore hope, rebuild trust and inspire optimism.

Please note, NSW Government Discover Vouchers are not redeemable for this event due to the event ticket cost being below voucher value.

Nothing is more important than your safety, which is why we are operating in accordance with Glen Street Theatre COVID Safe practices. The COVID Safe practices applicable at the time of your visit will be made available here.
