Glen Street Theatre does not have a tax deductible status. Glen Street Theatre works with Creative Partnerships Australia to facilitate tax deductibility for donations. Creative Partnerships Australia is a company of the Australian Government which has been established to promote private sector arts support of arts organisations just like ours. Creative Partnerships Australia is endorsed with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status and operated the Australia Cultural Fund, which is a public donations account.
When you make a donation to Creative Partnerships Australia’s Australia Cultural Fund you nominate Glen Street Theatre as your preferred recipient. Creative Partnerships Australia will provide you with a tax deductible receipt for your gift. The Creative Partnerships Australia board has previously approved grants to Glen Street Theatre and they are very pleased to be continuing their relationship with the theatre.
Glen Street Theatre relies on partnering with companies. Many of our partners use their sponsorship with us as part of their corporate social responsibility charter.
Glen Street Theatre offers different levels of sponsorship that incorporate a combination of cash and in-kind sponsorships. Benefits are tailored to suit the particular needs of each sponsor; some sponsors focus on branding opportunities, while others concentrate more on corporate entertaining or staff reward and retention schemes or even the use of the venue for their own events.
Possible benefits include:
- Invitations to opening night and the post show party
- Invitations to an exclusive Sponsor Preview of Glen Street productions
- Opportunity to host exclusive post show events attended by the cast
- Acknowledgement in the foyer of the theatre
- Acknowledgement in Glen Street Theatre marketing collateral including advertising, website, newsletters and season books
- Private use of the theatre facilities
- Complimentary and/or discounted tickets for staff and clients
Bequests and legacies are particular items or sums of money given as gifts upon the death of the donor. The most common method of deferred charitable giving is a gift through one’s will such as cash, securities, a percentage of real property or personal property. Bequests can be for general purposes or they may be designated for some specific area.
There are many ways to make a bequest or leave a legacy and no matter which type of gift you choose to make, please be assured that if you decided to support Glen Street Theatre, your gift will be used to further the vision of the theatre.
